QUALITY ENGINEER

Kemalpaşa – İzmir

The jobholder will be responsible for the overall Quality Assurance & Control of responsible customer’s products produced and/or sold by McCormick-Kutas. QA Engineer is also member of HACCP and Hygiene.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• To maintain, control, update and issue all documents relevant to the site Quality Management Systems. This includes Site QMS. Quality Work Instructions, Quality Plans (RMs, Finished products, RFI, PIR , test plans , following RM technical documents ) , creation of visual standards, attendance at relevant meetings to deliver right first time launches. Other documents deemed necessary to fulfil sites food quality and safety requirements.

• Actively involved with preparation and execution of the sites internal and external audit programme, including HACCP and Food Defense audits. Taking responsibility for the completion of all allocated audits (as per specified audit schedule), management of internal audit schedule, associated documentation, reporting, follow-up by way of key stake holder meetings to satisfactory closure.

• Actively involved with QMS & HACCP/Food Defence reviews & improvement plans

• Actively involved with gap analyses & implementation of action plans related to BRC V9 and revised       customer requirements.

• Implementation and management of site QA documentation templates within internal digital platforms

• Execution of site GMP audits and corrective actions follow up.

• Actively involved in delivery of site training programme.

• Deputise as appropriate for the Quality Systems and Supplier Quality Lead any associated activities   

• Preparation of customer required technical documents and needs.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• BSc in Food Science or equivalent such as Food Technology.

• Minimum 3 years in the Food Industry.

• Native Turkish speaker, fluent English.

• Solid Food industry experience and product / ingredient knowledge.

• Quality management System knowledge.
