We are hiring immediately for a Inventory and Demand Planning Analyst.

  • Production Planning, capacity management, and volume projections
    • Manages production planning activities within 5 weeks to 24-month horizon
    • Monitors automated alerts and reacts by changing capacity or overriding production plan for assigned horizon.
    • Maintains crewed capacity for assigned horizon by production resource through collaboration with the plant
    • Maintains plant downtime calendar for assigned horizon.
    • Facilitates monthly playbook meetings and co-owns Plant Supply Review (PSR) meeting facilitation (where applicable).
    • Provides monthly volume projections to plant controller.
    • Publishes capacity plan and presents in capacity meetings. –Monthly volume projections
    • Minimum Shelf-Life Remaining Audits
    • Monday EOL (Extended Operation List) reporting and reaction (where applicable)
    • Quarterly Run Rate reviews
    • Maintains scheduling characteristics and setup matrices, review with Scheduling
    • Quarterly production version and lot size audit - Review capacity and reset primary production version to balance capacity for shared lines (where applicable)
    • Performs daily reconciliation between planning systems (S/4 and PPDS)
  • Inventory At Risk analysis, reporting, and disposition

 

  • Conduct root cause analysis utilizing the knowledge of tools, transactions and reports used by purchasing, scheduling, quality, sales and customer service to retrieve data in order to determine an appropriate action for IAR materials and proposing disposition to appropriate departments. 
  • Conduct and Lead monthly IAR meeting with appropriate departments (Materials Management, Quality, Supply Planning & Demand Planning). Assure that the facility is utilizing the IAR Playbook.
  • Analyze aged materials (under $2,500) and determine appropriate action (reclass, hold, destroy, return to vendor, sister plant).
  • Manage the Asset disposal process and the destruction process of high value materials (over $2,500)
  • Monitor & Disposition Finished Good shelf life for liability avoidance purposes.  (rework, ship, destroy).
  • Lead teams to improve Return to Vendor, Rework and Dairy Shelf-Life losses
  • Assist/Lead Continuous Improvement projects.
  • Ability to successfully create and run EDW reports to retrieve specific data for analysis.

 

 

 

Required Qualifications

Qualifications

Level of Education and Discipline

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or a related field required
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in materials management, supply/demand planning required

 

Certification and/or Licenses

  • APICS certification preferred

Experience - functional/industry/commercial knowledge, business acumen

  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong problem-solving skills are required, including the ability to investigate complex issues and conduct root cause analysis to resolve problems required
  •  

Interpersonal Skills – leadership, interactions, communication, influence

  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization is required

Other Skills and HPO Competencies

  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel required
  • SAP experience strongly preferred
