Under the general direction of the Operations Manager or equivalent, provides strategic leadership for a function within a high performance plant/facility. Has overall accountability for the performance of the function and the impact on the larger operating unit. Leads team managers and/or staff to achieve exceptional business results through the development of people and continuous improvement of manufacturing and supply chain processes. Ensures that strategies across functions are aligned to create common objectives for all departments and achieve plant/facility goals. Manage and develop direct reports. Requires comprehensive understanding of the concepts and principles within their own functional area and also requires basic knowledge of these elements in other relevant functional areas in order to participate in the resolution of issues that have an impact beyond the area or impact multiple areas. Responsibilities of this position include providing leadership/direction for the Departments under the general supervision of the Operations Manager. Establishes critical operational OGSM’s (objectives, goals, strategies and measures), plans for continuous improvement and creates new and innovative strategies necessary to consistently meet our customer’s expectations. Co-leads AM pillar and supports/coaches AM activities for department as per AM Masterplan
