This new hire will work at Jurado Farms, located in Las Cruces, NM. The Dry Blend Operator/Tank Farm Operator will report to an Operations Manager.

Jurado, Inc, a subsidiary of McCormick & Company, Inc., is seeking a full-time Tank Farm Operator for the plant located in Las Cruces, New Mexico. This person will report to the Tank Farm Supervisor.

 

Position Responsibilities

 

  1. Perform scheduled 90 minutes tasks
  2. Perform scheduled 20 minutes tasks
  3. Maintain stored products in tanks according to Quality and Food Safety  Jurado Inc. and customers’ specification
  4. Perform plug, air, manual mix, and clean sides to preserve the quality and food safety of the product.
  5. Inspect fermentation tanks in the frequency indicated in SOPs
  6. Assist in monthly tank inventory
  7. Installs water lines, repairs faucets, water hoses
  8. Must be able to physically stand, stoop, bend, twist, turn, and reach overhead.    Often required repetitive motion.
  9. Must be able to work in high ambient temperatures.
  10. Must have good communication skills.
  11. Maintain a clean work environment.
  12. Notify the Operations Manager of any repairs or adjustments that are required.
  13. Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy.
  14. Inform the Operations Manager, Quality Manager, or any other Management personnel of ANY Food Safety or Quality issues or of any processes which become noncompliant with specified requirements.
  15. Will be accountable to Jurado Inc. Food Safety and Quality Principles.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required as Essential

 

  1. Must be able to lift material up to a weight of 50lbs.
  2. Thorough understanding of all Company policies, including GMP’s and safety policies.
  3. Effectively communicate.
  4. The ability to comprehend basic English.
  5. Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
