We are looking to hire a Manager, Google Analytics and Tagging  immediately in a Hybrid (60/40) capacity for our site in Mexico.  This is 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and data-driven Manager to lead our Google Analytics and tagging initiatives, focusing on GA4 implementation and optimization for our direct-to-consumer (DTC) eCommerce operations. This role will be pivotal in driving actionable insights, ensuring best-in-class tracking practices, and aligning analytics strategies with our business goals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Google Analytics (GA4) Strategy & Management:

  • Lead the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to support advanced eCommerce tracking.
  • Define and optimize data collection frameworks, reporting structures, and dashboards to ensure actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics aligned with business objectives.

Tagging & Tracking Implementation:

  • Manage and oversee all tagging efforts using tools like Google Tag Manager (GTM) to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
  • Collaborate with developers, agencies and stakeholders to implement robust tagging solutions for website and mobile applications.
  • Audit and troubleshoot tracking issues, ensuring data integrity and compliance with privacy regulations.

eCommerce Analytics:

  • Analyze customer behavior, sales performance, and campaign effectiveness to drive revenue growth in the DTC eCommerce space.
  • Provide insights into customer acquisition, retention, and conversion strategies.
  • Partner with global marketing, IT, product, and sales teams to optimize campaigns and user experiences based on data insights.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Act as the primary liaison between the analytics team, agencies and other departments (global marketing, IT, ecommerce.).
  • Translate business needs into technical analytics requirements and deliverables.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Relevant experience in web analytics, with a strong focus on Google Analytics (GA4) and eCommerce tracking.
  • Proficiency in Google Tag Manager (GTM) and other tagging solutions.
  • Proven expertise in the DTC eCommerce domain, including experience with customer journey mapping and funnel analysis.
  • Solid knowledge of data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven record of working with teams in different geographic locations
  • Fully bilingual English/Spanish
  • Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization tools. (preferred)
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other data manipulation tools. (preferred)
