This Product (Brand) Manager I will be primarily responsible for leading strategic Delivery Marketing activities for the Herbs and Spices Portfolio to achieve short- and long-term sales goals.    In addition, this position will have overall responsibility for the profitability, promotion, pricing, packaging, distribution, merchandising, research and new product plan for the segment.  The Product Manager I will report to the Sr. Marketing Manager.




  • Analyze business performance to deliver forecast accuracy, execute day to day business management, diagnose challenges, and identify growth opportunities.  
  • Understand dynamic food industry landscape to define and implement strategies that consider the needs of McCormick, our customers and our consumers.
  • Lead, collaborate and gain alignment from key internal and external stakeholders from supply chain, operations, product development to field sales and customers to develop and execute strategies that achieve business goals.
  • Manage P&L of segment(s) to achieve top and bottom-line goals via strategic product choices, Waste management, and CCI strategies.
  • Identify communication needs and coordinate with Marketing Excellence/Agencies partners to deliver goals.
  • Partner with the design team to identify product design needs, such as brand renovation, packaging and or product innovation.
  • Prepare commercial plans and present to senior leadership and external partners as needed for alignment.  
  • Provide strategic and tactical coordination with Marketing Excellence, EComm, Culinary, Graphics, Legal, Consumer Insights, Sales, Finance, Procurement and Supply
  • Work Autonomously and take ownership for continued skill development



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years demonstrated relevant skills and results in consumer-packaged goods marketing or closely related field
  • Expertise in syndicated databases, market research, business and brand planning, advertising, finance, promotional activities and consumer communications
  • Strong project leadership experience with ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple projects
  • Sound understanding of concepts, principles and practices in Marketing (functional expert) and a basic knowledge in other areas including Sales, Finance and Supply Chain
  • In-depth understanding of how own area integrates with other Marketing areas and with other functional areas such as Sales
  • Deep understanding of the industry sector and competitive landscape
  • Developed communication and diplomacy skills required to guide, influence, and convince others (internal and external); often customer-facing; interactions with senior leadership.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, communication and teamwork skills
