The Role

As one of Australia’s leading flavour company’s, we are growing, and this is an opportunity for an experienced FMCG Facility Maintenance Specialist to join us.

The successful candidate will join a high performing maintenance team and will report directly through to the Maintenance Manager.  

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to.

• Responsible for the service and maintenance of the FMCG facility and ensure efficient operation of all building systems
• Ensure internal customer expectations are met by performing timely maintenance and repairs
• Supervising contractors with a key focus on safety
• Managing the completion of GMP and QA maintenance tasks
• Coordinating preventative maintenance and lead facility capital projects from ideation to implementation

About You

You will be trade qualified and have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in building operations, facility support and/or manufacturing site maintenance.  Prior supervisory experience with management and external stakeholders is required for this role.

In addition to the above, you will be able to demonstrate the following.

• Experience with building support functions including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Energy Management Systems, Emergency, Fire, Building Security, Safety and Sanitation
• Experience with HVAC equipment, security system, elevators, fire alarms, plumbing and electrical systems
• Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills
• Exercise good judgment in difficult and/or emergency situations
• Must be proficient in MS Office Suite, CMMS software
