Position Overview
We’re seeking a passionate and proactive Grower Liaison Coordinator to join our team on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. In this key role, you’ll be part of the vital link between our network of herb and spice growers and our manufacturing operations, ensuring a reliable supply of high-quality, traceable, and sustainably sourced raw materials.
You’ll work closely with horticultural growers across Australia to plan crops, manage relationships, oversee compliance, and support innovation projects that drive business growth and agricultural sustainability.
Ideal Candidate
You’re someone who thrives in the field as much as in the office. You’re passionate about sustainable agriculture, a natural relationship builder, and have a keen eye for quality and detail. You enjoy working with diverse communities and are committed to continuous improvement and supply chain integrity.
- Must have 3 years’ experience in agriculture, agribusiness, or supply chain (preferably herbs, spices, or horticulture).
- Must have strong knowledge of crop production, post-harvest handling, and food safety systems.
- Have strong attention to detail and reporting skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly to grower sites (local and interstate).
Desirable:
- Experience with smallholder farms or contract farming models.
- Familiarity with sustainability and ethical sourcing frameworks.
- Experience with herb and spice production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain trusted partnerships with growers locally and interstate.
- Onboard new growers and assist manage supplier agreements (pricing, volumes, specifications).
- Collaborate on crop planning and harvest schedules aligned with supply chain forecasts.
- Monitor crop progress and coordinate timely delivery of raw materials.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and ethical sourcing programs (e.g., HARPS, Freshcare, Sedex).
- Support growers in adopting sustainable and regenerative farming practices.
- Maintain accurate records and provide seasonal performance reports.
- Assist with field trials and innovation projects.
