We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Logistics & Export Coordinator to manage the end-to-end flow of inbound and export logistics for our operations. In this role, you will coordinate transportation activities with carriers and freight forwarders, ensuring timely, accurate, and cost‑effective movement of goods.

Position Overview

 

Reporting to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager, you will act as a key communication link between internal teams and external partners, facilitating smooth operations and resolving issues that may impact delivery timelines. Working closely with Supply Chain, Production, Procurement, and Sales, you will align logistics activities with business needs to optimise efficiency and support operational goals.

 

This position also plays an important role in continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, streamline workflows, and improve overall logistics performance. You will monitor key performance indicators, report on logistics outcomes, and support ongoing efforts to improve service levels and reduce costs.

 

A portion of the role will also involve creating and distributing production order picklists for forklift operators to ensure accurate stock allocation and picking.

 

The Successful Candidate

 

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

  • Experience coordinating freight, export documentation, and transport logistics.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to solve problems, manage competing deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and operational excellence.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, especially when managing documentation and reporting.
  • Experience with ERP or logistics management systems (preferred).
  • A team‑focused approach and a commitment to meeting business and customer delivery expectations.
