The Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, working closely with the maintenance planner, the working week will consist of Monday to Friday with the requirement to have flexibility to work on day and afternoon shift with the request to work Saturdays. You will be responsible to perform preventive maintenance, breakdown, and repairs. Ideally you have worked in a FMCG environment and willing to grow your skills and have high energy and enthusiasm to grow with the company as it expands. In this role you will have opportunities to lead and be a part of process improvement projects to help achieve business KPI's.

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience working in a manufacturing environment preferably within FMCG and you will have experience in;

  • S/S Welding
  • Pneumatics
  • Pumps, gearboxes and motors
  • high speed packaging machinery, and have;
  • A high level of problem solving and fault-finding skills
  • The ability to work unsupervised
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing principles
