About The Role

 

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager – Operations & Supply Chain, the Management Accountant will play a crucial role in the financial operations of our manufacturing facility based in Palmwoods. Responsibilities include month-end activities such as recognizing Cost of Goods Sold and providing comprehensive reporting and analysis on Operations and Supply Chain performance.

 

Additionally, the role involves supporting the Operations and Supply Chain teams in budgeting and forecasting and providing insightful analysis on manufacturing variances. The Management Accountant will also be responsible for preparing costings for New Product Development, supporting cost-saving initiatives through the Comprehensive Continuous Improvement program, and assisting with ad hoc tasks such as identifying process improvements, maintaining SOPs and reviewing Capital project submissions.

 

About You

 

To be considered for an interview, candidates must demonstrate the following experience:

 

  • MUST hold a bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting or related finance field
  • MUST have a minimum 3+ years’ manufacturing accounting experience
  • Candidates who possess a CA or CPA qualification, or are actively studying towards it, will be highly regarded.
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to build strong relationships with production teams and key stakeholders
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI highly regarded
