About The Role
This role involves performing preventative and corrective maintenance across facilities and grounds using CMMS/Upkeep, supporting GMP and QA corrective actions, and assisting the Maintenance Team with scheduled maintenance tasks.
You will also be trained to operate the Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) to provide coverage when the WWTP operator is absent. This is a varied role that includes internal and external maintenance, and cleaning.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of the facilities and grounds.
- Maintain external areas, including driveways, carparks, paths, and roads, ensuring they are clean and free of debris.
- Carry out basic internal repairs (e.g., taps, toilet seats, light fittings, furniture) and general painting.
- Support trades with breakdowns and scheduled maintenance tasks.
- Assist with cleaning and upkeep of site facilities, including eating areas and BBQ equipment, and help set up for events.
- Operate forklift and scissor lift as required.
- Provide support for wastewater treatment plant operations, contractors and including filter cleaning. Higher duties allowance when trained.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in general maintenance or a similar role.
- Basic repair and handyman skills.
- Ability to operate a forklift and scissor lift (licenses preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to GMP and QA standards.
- Willingness to learn and cover WWTP operations when required.
- A proactive attitude and ability to work independently and as a team.
