The Role

You can expect to work collaboratively with teams across the site to lead the Quality function and oversee the quality of our products and procedures by: 

 

  • Setting and implementing quality standards for Palmwoods operations.  
  • Ensuring efficient operation of the onsite Laboratory and externally provided Laboratory services 
  • Managing site programs including: Recall and Incident Management processes, Food Defence Plan, Customer Complaints, and HACCP.  
  • Being actively involved in Improvement Projects at the site, working with cross-functional teams.
  • Being a member of the Site Leadership Team
  • Managing the site Quality Team
  • Be involved in regional and global projects

About You

  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance in a food manufacturing or processing environment
  • Tertiary qualifications in Food Science, Food Technology or similar field  
  • People leadership experience and strong communication skills
  • You will be highly self-motivated and enjoy working in an innovative and supportive environment
