SALES ANALYST I (Hybrid)

This new hire will work in a hybrid capacity in our Rogers, AR office. The Sales Analyst will report to the Sales Director - Walmart Team.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This Sales Analyst will be responsible for providing in-depth sales and category analysis in support of Walmart sales and strategy. The role will support the business team with analysis to determine opportunities and focus’ on customer level sales trends and business performance including delivery of item level analysis and planning.

 

This is an entry level sales track position and requires the interest and ability to relocate as necessary in the future for other sales opportunities.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing internally and externally, the development and execution of new items, implementing pricing actions, coordinating graphics changes and managing forecasting for assigned U.S. Consumer customers.
  • Analytics & insights that assist in Sales & Commercialization processes including business reviews & category management.
  • Executes projects and action plans.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Management or related field. Recent College graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Must have demonstrated skills working on small projects and basic analytic assignments.  Internship experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, Power Point.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Must be self-motivated, possess excellent communication and organization skills, project a professional image, and interact effectively with all levels within the organization
  • Must be willing to travel several times per year

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of McCormick Operations and Internship
  • Experience in Sales, Marketing, Finance or a related field
  • Experience in working with SAP, Syndicated/Scan Data with ACNielsen or IRI
  • Retail Link, Item 360 or Salsify experience would be a plus.
  • E-Commerce experience needed (General Knowledge).
