KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES, INCLUDE ONLY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Co Manufactory auditing: - Lead on risk assessment of co-packers risks and organize the audit plan - Corporate with co-packers for audit schedule - Conduct the site audit at co-packers - Complete the report and ensure the corrective action is completely done and compliance to the food safety standards

Projects handling: - Project Leader for Valuable Claim of Product i.e. GFCP, Organic, Vegan, etc. - Corporate with co-packers and ensure all food safety control parameters are complied with McCormick Standards - Corporate with QA in all markets zones to update the new requirements and food safety standards

Customers Complaint Handling: - Corporate with customer service team in US, Canada, EMEA and AUS to gather the complaint notification from customers - Categorize the complaint risk and notice to co-packers. Follow up the action and ensure co-packers improve and comply to standards - Work with co-packers on the investigation of the complaint cause

Production Inspection and Laboratory Proficiency Testing. - Organize and perform the visit (announce and unannounced visits) co-packers on the production control in the production line, quality system and product control - Complete the visiting report and notice findings to co-packers - Lab PT Quarterly and summarized to ensure all Co-packers capabilities and abilities meet to Global & McCormick standards.

Co-packers Training: - Analyze and organize training programs for co-packers related to the improvement programs - Perform the training to co-packers as trainers; Food Safety, Laws and Regulations, Quality Control and Standards, etc. - Evaluate training to ensure co-packers are clearly understand

 Perform related QA works as assigned, Special projects as customer’s expectation and regulation update

 

EDUCATION:

Minimum level of education required to perform the job. Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Food Science & Food Technology or related field. C. Preferred level of education – why? Master Degree European CIPD Required or Preferred? 

EXPERIENCE:

At least 1-4 years experience in food quality assurance management system e.g. establish, plan, maintain, improve the system and in multi-national company is an advantage.

OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Good knowledge in quality standard and regulation of food products for worldwide market.

• Good knowledge in quality system; GMP, HACCP, ISO, BRC, regulatory.

• Good Knowledge in quality assurance, quality management documentation, internal audit improvement tools and food law regulation.

• Able to build close relationship and working well with Thai suppliers and overseas customers.

• Good leadership competency, positive attitude, effective problem solving ability, effective time management, decision making, organization skill.

• Good interpersonal and communication skill.

• Good in computer literacy and email skill.

• Good, details-oriented analytical and problem solving skills.

• Able to travel in upcountry and overseas independently.

• Able to work both independently and as a team member. 

• Work well under pressure to meet customers’ requirement and deadline, positive thinking, self motivate, innovative, systematic thinking.

• Positive thinking, self motivate, strong leadership. 

 

Additional Position Specific Duties/Info (Not Covered in Generic Description of Job):

• Handling, manage and communicate to co-packers including upstream co-packers.

• Comprehend Thai Kitchen products of 3 markets (us, Canada and EU) > 100 SKUs.

• Manage Microbiology testing plan for US products with co-packers.

• Analyze and evaluate score in statistics for co-packers.
