We are looking to hire a Customer Business Manager III immediately. This position is a home based opportunity and will need to reside in/within a 2 hour proximity (flight/drive time) to San Antonio given the significant interaction/high touch requirements associated with this customer on a monthly basis.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This Customer Business Manager III (supporting HEB) will be responsible for the achievement of strategic account OGSM’s including delivering the sales volume objective, promotional execution, account level distribution targets, retail price management, and execution of retail controllables. This Customer Business Manager III will have Direct selling responsibility of HEB and its banners including Joe V’s. This Customer Business Manager III will focus on achieving growth targets by setting goals, monitoring progress to all sales objectives, and maximizing customer intimacy through the Joint Business Planning model tier that HEB has designated for McCormick & Co.. The Customer Business Manager III will be responsible for leading and developing one direct report.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing and delivering customer plans to achieve objectives within budget, and short- & long-term solutions through best practice thought leadership.
- Primary and day-to-day selling interface at customer penetrating the highest level within the customer organization inclusive of leading and executing JBP process & goals
- Delivering creative solutions and thought leadership as it relates to hitting objectives.
- Execution of sales plan while managing financial controls in our trade system
- Lead and develop CBM II that reports into this position
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or equivalent 10+ years of related field experience
- 10+ years Sales, Marketing, or related experience with a minimum of 4 years experience successfully managing direct customer base at a large regional/national retailer
- 2+ years of people management experience and/or comparable management of cross functional team project management i.e internal Trade Marketing experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiating and influencing, teamwork and relationship, computer and analytical skills
- Experience utilizing McCormick's Trade Promotion Management (TPM) system (and Tellus familiarity) for comprehensive annual business plan building and financial management.
- Expert knowledge of procedures & concepts within the Sales function and advanced knowledge in other areas, such as category management, supply chain, and P&L management
- Advanced knowledge of deal economics, customer-level P&L financials, and business impacts. Working knowledge of interacting with brokerage support.
- Analytical mindset and in-depth understanding of Circana/Nielsen consumer insight driven business planning
- Expert understanding of CPG industry sector and competitive landscape
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Expert knowledge of McCormick products, mix & impact to profit, and awareness of store conditions and current & best practices within area
- Experience with Tableau/Power BI for customer level P&L reporting

Base Salary: $121,900 - $219,410
Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
