Key Responsibilities:

  • Project management of Business Improvement (CCI) initiatives and strategic business priorities.  Coordination of cross-functional personnel and workstream project portfolio for strategic projects to ensure delivery of key projects and planned results, prioritizing the China business.
  • Lead the process of identification and analysis of Business Improvement projects for the China business (or relevant markets/geography), including cross-functional concept development with teams to align approval and resourcing with leadership across the priority pipeline.
  • Ensure relevant leadership and/or management teams are aware of project performance and the total CCI program for China/APAC versus targets.  Work with the leadership, management, and functional teams to ensure that any gaps to target are understood and are being addressed (e.g. Site/country CCI forums).
  • Ensure that single function (Procurement + Supply Chain) CCI initiatives are being effectively tracked and that these initiatives are being delivered on time and in accordance with the project tracking.
  • Share and align with global team on best practices in the areas of tools and expertise relating to global platforms (DTV), strategic initiatives, process, and productivity improvement to identify opportunities for the China business. 

     

  • Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of business experience across multiple disciplines and minimum of 3 years project management experience. 
  • Demonstrated success leading medium-large scale cross-functional projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment under pressure and in sensitive situations.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple business units and disciplines with competing priorities and without authority.
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills (without authority).
  • Fluent in Chinese and English. 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and employees. 
  • Demonstrated managerial, presentation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of and demonstrated project management skills and principles, resource management and change management techniques.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills. Good influencing, collaboration, and partnering skills to grow business relationships vital to project success.
  • Broad understanding of end-to-end business process – Regulatory, Quality, Procurement, Planning, Marketing, Sales, Packaging Development, Product Development, Engineering, Manufacturing and Distribution
