Flavours validation within applications to ensure technical and sensory performance, development of Flavours systems and innovative application concepts meet customers’ requirements.

Flavour validation

Validate flavours in application recipes. Actively participates in flavour application on identified food categories, relative to culinary trends and McCormick product knowledge. Work autonomously and takes ownership of the planning/execution of assigned projects, including flavour campaigns and promotions.

Flavour Creation Support

Support creation and development of cost-effective and commercially successful flavours fully scalable to operations (understanding of processes and operations for product manufacture including trouble shooting) in order to fulfil business priorities and timelines. Investigating and assessing new ingredients and technologies to enable innovation.

Laboratory management

Manage RM/Flavour inventories, laboratory equipment service contracts and consumables. Support samples shipments.

Sensory evaluation

Assists with planning and execution of prototype preparation for sensory panels, bench testing and support market products evaluation.

Customer Engagement (Internal & External)

Develop strong Customer relationships on a technical-to-technical basis, visit selected customers to define requirements, discuss opportunities and conduct demonstrations and presentations.

 

Qualification & Requirements:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science / Technology or Food Engineering

Minimum 5 years of relevant product development experience in the food industry.
