PRIMARY PURPOSE/FUNCTION OF THE JOB
This role will be reporting to APZ Supply chain Finance Manager. The person will be responsible to calculate purchase price variance for Clayton, palmwoods and Amata plant (including inward freight) and facilitate commodity inflation view for APZ Region working with APZ Supply chain finance Manager. The person will also facilitate consolidation, standardisation and review of SC dashboards, Inventory tracking and CCI reconciliation vs. forecast and Budget. Key attribute for the role will be accuracy of numbers and reporting as per the timelines.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES, INCLUDE ONLY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Calculation and reporting of inflation, purchase price variances for all direct purchases across APZ plant loactions. This will include varaiances on materials, forex, inbound freight and import duty and work closely with commercial and FP&A teams to ensure accuracy & transparency.
- Facilitate build up of quarterly forecast, budgets while ensuring accuracy and support APZ finance manager in creating transparency on numbers.
- Consoildation of operation statement of all the sites and help in creating detailed visibility on cost line items. Support in reviews and submissions of the same to corporate working with APZ finance manager.
- Support Plant teams specifically Clayton and palmwood on inward freight accounting and accruals given the size of spend.
- Support commercial finance team on latest views on commodity rates to enable pricing and other interventions to improve margins
- Provide analytical & decision support to enable efficiencies in working capital (AP & Inventory) and CCI reconciliation for Budget/forecast and P&L impact of CCI.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
CA/MBA or other graduate degree in Finance with 5+ years of work experience with business partnering exposure in financial reporting and analysis. Strong understanding of Accounts / Finance functions
Experience of working on SAP is essential.
Good Inter-personal skills including People Management Skills
Previous experience in a Supply chain & procurement finance environments desirable
