The role of Indirect Strategic Procurement is primary to support on groing growth and profitability of Indian business through strategic sourcing and bringing  siginificant improvement in vendor relationship to improve speed to market, build market intelligence and drive cost effectiveness. This position need to collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that the Indirect policy & procedure and guidance documents are implemented/used. Supports APZ Indirect team to achieve CCI savings,  create values and support business.  Manages stakeholder engagement, stratgic sourcing development, procurement KPI for India business and certain categories at APZ level.  


Primary Reponsibilities:


Manage all Indirect sourcing strategies for India business and some categories at APZ level including day to day activities including market understanding, sourcing strategy development, supplier relationship management and execution including savings target and other key performance indicators like cash flow, supply assurance, Cost Avoidance, Risk Mitigation et.


Develop Indirect sourcing strategies, aligned with the business need in order to be able to drive sustainable competitive advantag.


Identify and follow up on opportunities to reduce total cost of value.


Implement, maintain Indirect policy & procedure, engage in process standardisation and change efforts while creating true alignment & integration internally and externally maintaining both internal stakeholder relationshops and external supplier relationships.


Key Internal Stakeholder Management, supporting business partnership and strtegic project management.


Lead negotiation and facilitate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers.


Education & Expereince:


MBA in Food science / Food Technology / Supply Chain / Logistics / Purchasing. 

5-10 years expereince in Purchasing/ Supply Chain environment with a Manufacturing background.

At least 3-5 years experience in Indirect Procurement and contract management for a wide range of spend categories and management of supplier.

At least 3-5 yrs stakeholder management, supplier relationship managemen.


Job Dimensions:


Provide support to Indirect Procurement Director, handle $44 M Indirect spend with more than 400 suppliers. Good knowledge of Indirect Procurement, understand common Indirect procurement business processes, concepts, practices and procedures. Understand SAP playform and BI tools. The role assists to solve routine problems daily with suppliers, relating to expediting purchasing orders and solve daily problem with customer requires. Job requires good analytical and negiotiation skills
