- The primary purpose of the electrical engineer role is to oversee the functioning and maintenance of critical utilities such as HT/LT system, gensets, plant instruments, sensor, detectors, coding machine, X ray, MD, Checkweigher & electrical system of all machines including utilities.
- Develop preventive and predictive maintenance schedules. Ensure optimal performance to minimize downtime and energy consumption.
- Plan, execute, and manage engineering projects, including installation, commissioning, and upgradation of equipment or infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards during project execution. Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain an inventory of critical spare parts to minimize equipment downtime. Optimize spare part procurement processes to balance cost efficiency with availability. Implement systems to track and manage inventory levels effectively.
- Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance the technical skills of the maintenance team. Promote cross-functional knowledge sharing and team development.
- Implement and monitor adherence to workplace safety standards and protocols. Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness drills. Foster a culture of safety awareness across the team.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards like HACCP, ISO, or GMP, especially concerning maintenance practices. Support audits and inspections to maintain certifications and licenses. Regularly review and update maintenance-related quality documentation and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Electrical & instrumentation systems for process control and automation within the food factory. Propose and implement enhancements to instrumentation & electrical configurations to enhance production throughput, quality, and resource utilization.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, RCA of electrical & instrumentation equipment to maintain optimal performance and enhance reliability and safety standards. Carryout RCA to improve
- Lead the process improvement, capability improvement and cost optimization projects. Prepare and maintain project trackers, progress reports, layouts, BOQs, technical documentation, work permits, and commissioning records.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate instrumentation & electrical solutions into new and existing production processes. And, work closely with cross functional team to streamline workflows and minimize waste generation, improve quality and safety system.
- Support Site SHE Manager in conducting risk assessment, safety audit, providing SHE training program for the team, Liaise with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders to ensure ongoing compliance and in developing & implementing SHE policies for the site.
Education: Bachelors in Electrical Engineering
