McCormick & Company, Inc., a global leader in the spice, flavor, and seasonings industry, is seeking a full-time Production Planner/Scheduler.  This new hire will work in Springfield MO at the French's Food Company location.  The Production Planner/Scheduler will report to a Department Manager Materials.

Position Overview

Manages production planning variables so as to maximize the level of rotation of finish products, manages optimal inventory levels that generate tangible savings to the company without compromising compliance to the sales and production plan. Ensure the finish good product availability to support demand while optimizing inventory levels. Establish production requirements of finish products in order to ensure sales fulfilments with the optimal inventory levels.

 

  • Generates reports and performance indicators to monitor the decisions taken regarding to the administration of finish products.
  • Supports the determination of the release dates of new products or makeover in order to ensure timely supply and production.
  • Supports the determination of the rationalization of existing SKUs to minimizing the obsolescence
  • To agree with Manufacturing, weekly and monthly production plan.
  • Analyze the weekly and Monthly Production Plan, considering the different resources required for programming and to inform the departments concerned in order to avoid setbacks to produce.
  • Validate with material planner, materials requirements before production plan schedul

 

Qualifications and Experiences
• Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain / Logistics / Purchasing or related field.
• 5 years in Supply Chain / Production Planning/ Material Planning preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Good command in English both Spoken and Written.
• Good coordinating with international suppliers
• Effective communication and negotiation Skill
• Flexible and can work under pressure
• SAP or ERP program, SAGE X3, Microsoft Office, Excel, Power point, Outlook etc
• Strong analytical and problem- solving skills are preferred.
• Able to articulate ideas well, enjoys problem solving & challenges with positive work attitude and approach. • SAP or ERP program, SAGE X3, Microsoft Office, Excel, Power point, Outlook etc
