DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
- Maintain distribution equipment in multiple departments and is responsible for the complete maintenance and inspection on individual pieces of equipment.
- General building and facilities related activities
- Work in a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) environment and be familiar with automated equipment.
- Lubricate, maintain and evaluate equipment for proper adjustment.
- Diagnose and correct mechanical issues as well as to overhaul equipment using shop machinery.
- Perform preventive maintenance and general maintenance as required on production equipment and will lead Autonomous Maintenance events.
- Monitor and approve all maintenance data entries on an ongoing basis during the shift and perform handoffs before and after the shift with maintenance and production counterparts.
- Spend 90% of the time on the floor supporting production and will utilize available line time and resources to complete work during regular hours.
- Identify constant improvements while maintaining and improving preventative maintenance sheets and daily checklists with specific actionable information.
- This position will require flexibility with shift and work day assignment to support business need requirements. (e.g. overtime work on short notice, adjust working hours to support business need).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Acceptable attendance required.
- Meets standards in overall performance rating in most recent performance review.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience maintenance crafts
- Experience in repair and troubleshooting of HVAC and general building maintenance
- Excellent interpersonal skills required to closely interact with co-workers in and outside of the Maintenance Department
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and relay logic
- Demonstrated ability to methodically analyze and correct problems of a varied nature on a wide range of equipment and support systems
- Ability to maneuver around equipment, climb stairs, and go up and down ladders to reach various pieces of equipment required for use
- Ability to work overtime daily and on weekends is required and to have flexibility with shift hours
- PLC and Industrial electrical experience
- Knowledge of P.M. practices
- Demonstrated process improvement ability and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in all maintenance crafts to include electrical, plumbing, mechanics, welding, machine shop, millwright and carpentry
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Hands on experience with new equipment installation
- Demonstrated working knowledge of CMMS
Base Salary: $23.97-$35.95
Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer.
