Traditional Trade Sales Director

Position: Traditional Trade Sales Director

Based: Stefanowo, Poland

                                               

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Manage and develop long term strategy of cooperation with local retail chains and distributors in traditional trade
  • Maintain a value added service to ensure successful relationships
  • Identify key areas for growth and the Company sales strategy
  • Reporting line to Sales Director Poland
  • Business relations management in terms of local trade conditions and Export
  • Responsible for negotiations with traditional trade retail chains, Export and Wholesalers (Eurocash – second biggest retailer)
  • Develop and implement channel strategy in terms of distribution, assortment, promotion and pricing
  • Net sales and profitability responsibility
  • Manage and develop team of local CKAM and local Key Account Managers and Field Forces in traditional trade channel and growing up the successor (70 employees altogether)
  • Achieve a competitive advantage through effective implementation of the company's exhibition standards and additional exposure at the point of sale
  • Cooperation with trade marketing, category management, marketing, planning and finance in terms of TraditionalTrade channel
  • Cross-Functional team ownership, accountability and cooperation

 

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

 

  • A higher degree in a relevant field (MBA or Sales related MBA)
  • Evidence of negotiation skills and strategic growth contribution required
  • Proven track record in developing and leading joined business plans with customers
  • Ability to deliver KPI in timely manner, also beyond targets
  • Proven track record of innovative and stretching growth
  • High Team management skills and high ethics standards
  • Strong ability to influence
  • Good organisation & time management skills – able to prioritise work
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Good command of English
