The Senior Commercial Manager – Distributors and Operations is a strategic commercial leader responsible for driving sustainable growth across key customer portfolios while owning the merchandising (operations) function.

About the Role
This role blends high-level account strategy with hands-on operational leadership, ensuring execution excellence within major retail partners. The position plays a pivotal role in strengthening customer partnerships, expanding market share, and supporting long-term commercial success in the Australian market.
The role will be supported by a Senior National Account Executive.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a commercially astute and experienced sales and people leader with 5–7 years’ experience within either of these fields, ideally within FMCG or a related industry. They should also demonstrate
- Strong strategic thinking with operational executional expertise, particularly in managing customers.
- A confident relationship builder, with influence in aligning internal and external stakeholders to deliver results.
- Financially disciplined and analytically strong, they are comfortable managing budgets, forecasting performance, and identifying margin opportunities.
- Most importantly, they demonstrate strategic/people leadership, ownership, resilience, and the ability to translate strategy into measurable growth outcomes.
