Role Summary:
Owns the front-end innovation agenda for SEA, converting insights, trends and whitespace into meaningful concepts and platforms for long-term growth. Leads insighting, opportunity sizing, consumer concept testing, product/pack development guidance, capability scoping and Gate progression. Co-develops the innovation strategy with the Marketing Head.
Responsibilities:
- Lead front-end innovation development for SEA from insight → idea → validation → Gate progression
- Conduct opportunity sizing, consumer insight work, trend mapping and whitespace identification to develop a 3-5 year roadmap for innovations.
- Develop and refine concepts, lead consumer testing, validation and feasibility assessments
- Lead the cross-functional team by working with R&D, CI & SC to shape flavor direction, pack design, claims and product architecture
- Partner with Commercialization and markets to prepare toolkits, trade decks and launch plans. Work with external creative agency to develop launch plans for innovations. Support launch readiness and OTIF delivery in alignment with commercialization teams.
- Lead regional PLEs, consolidate learnings & feed back into innovation roadmap.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
Desired Profile:
- Minimum 7 years experience in brand/innovation, consumer insight or product development
- Experience with Gate processes, concept testing, cross-functional team collaboration or innovation frameworks
- Strong ability to translate consumer insight into product positioning & design direction
