We are looking to hire a Sr. Business Intelligence & Revenue Manager, Americas in a Hybrid (60/40) capacity for our site in Mexico City. This is 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Position Overview:

This role provides analytical and strategic guidance for end-to-end company data. Including internal & external customer and consumer business data, as well as the Revenue Management function within the Americas region & specific projects for Latin America. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of sell-in, sell-out, scan data, pricing, trade spending, and other relevant data sources, enabling the provision of KPI visualization, automation, and tactical recommendations to enhance top and bottom-line results. The role will build the revenue management framework for pricing strategies, price pocket management, pack size, and overall discounting approaches to optimize NSV, profit, and market share against the portfolio of brands via cross-functional influence, external benchmarking, identification of best practices, white spaces, and research & modeling needs for the team. Also includes Strategic planning, IBP process, and Quarterly Business review support.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business performance enablement & Insights: Consolidate Business, Customer, and Consumer data to drive cross-divisional performance visibility and opportunities. Responsible for continuous process improvement of commercial reporting (including automation) and tools.
  • Strategic Planning: Facilitating and driving recommendations for portfolio roles, pricing, budget, commercial calendar, and LTP strategy.
  • Develop, coach, mentor, and hire business intelligence resources
  • Education in the business and sales on analytical insights and concepts
  • Translate industry and global best practices/consulting engagements into action

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Analytics, Data Scientist, Statistics, or related field.
  • 8+ years of demonstrated ability to lead, analyze, interpret and mobilize tactics & strategies within a commercial framework.
  • 2+ years of people management or team leader experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of data automation systems (Python, C++, SQL).
  • Experience and deep understanding of CPG industry, food industry preferred.
  • Strong/demonstrated capability of relevant trade optimization, IBP, commercial planning, price optimization/analytics, strong and demonstrated ability to aggregate, assess, and draw commercial conclusions from the data.
  • Lead interdisciplinary team and provide collaborative leadership.
  • Ability to synthesize data across diverse data sets and drive a cohesive strategy to achieve goals.
  • Strong written and verbal communications, including the ability to lead in communication across commercial and technical.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Sales, finance, and MKT expertise ideal for Statistical Interpretation, strategy development, and commercial activation.
  • Advanced or fluent English (spoken & written).

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA, Master's in Data Analytics, or Master's in Business Intelligence, MBA, or Information Systems/Computer Science.
  • Strong educational background and relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of commercial analytics, commercial planning experience.
  • Previous pricing analytics work or trade spend optimization highly preferred.
  • Presentation and persuasion.
  • External interaction with customers (relatively low), consultants / share groups (moderate).
  • Financial Acumen - Critical - ability to assess financial information and make balanced commercial recommendations.
