We are looking to hire an Entry Level  Marketing Analyst (Condiments & Sauces) in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

Job Overview:

McCormick is seeking a Marketing Analyst to join the Condiments & Sauces Marketing Team reporting to the Sr. Product Manager of Asian Brands (Thai Kitchen/Simply Asia). This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are passionate about data-driven decision making and eager to develop their skills in marketing analytics, business performance reporting, consumer insights, and project management. The Marketing Analyst will play a key role in understanding business drivers, analyzing consumer data, and evaluating competitive landscapes to help shape McCormick’s marketing strategies and business decisions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze key business drivers, including sales trends, competitive performance, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Monitor product launches, pricing strategies, and marketing campaigns.
  • Support the development of actionable recommendations to optimize business outcomes and marketing strategies.
  • Support the creation of reports and dashboards to visualize marketing performance and share insights with the team.
  • Conduct research on market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to support marketing initiatives.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and data teams to ensure alignment on goals and priorities.
  • Assist in maintaining data accuracy and integrity by ensuring proper documentation and organization of datasets.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, Power Point, and Word.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a data-driven marketing environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Internship or academic project experience in data analysis, marketing, or business performance reporting.
  • CPG environment experience.
  • Basic understanding of data storytelling.
  • Experience utilizing data: POS, Retailer Specific, Panel and other consumer-based data providers.

Base Salary: $56,870 - $94,480

 

Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
