Commercial Manager (QSR)

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Establish and grow McCormick’s leadership position in the QSR, chicken processor, and FMCG sectors across Southeast Asia through strategic key account management and customer-centric leadership. This role drives commercial growth by leading cross-functional collaboration, developing tailored solutions, and building long-term strategic partnerships. The Commercial Manager acts as a trusted advisor to customers, delivering insight-led, win-win outcomes that align with both customer and McCormick’s growth agendas.

 

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead strategic key account management for major QSR, chicken processor, and FMCG customers in Southeast Asia. Build and execute long-term customer plans, foster executive-level relationships, and position McCormick as a strategic, solution-driven partner.
  • Champion innovation and solution development by combining customer insights, market trends, and internal capabilities. Partner with R&D, marketing, and supply chain to co-create value-added offerings tailored to customer needs and business priorities.
  • Foster cross-functional alignment and execution by working across internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of commercial plans. Facilitate strong collaboration to drive operational excellence and meet shared performance goals.
  • Demonstrate strong commercial leadership, coaching and developing team members (where applicable), and setting a high-performance culture centered on accountability, customer value creation, and results. Inspire teams to navigate complexity and deliver outcomes that benefit both McCormick and its customers.
  • Manage and optimize customer budgets, ensuring resource allocation supports strategic priorities and delivers maximum return. Monitor performance and lead problem-solving to close gaps and capitalize on growth opportunities.
  • Lead regional commercial initiatives and represent customer needs in strategic forums. Act as the voice of the customer within McCormick, ensuring business strategies are aligned with evolving market demands and opportunities for mutual growth.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Education and Discipline
    - Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Food Science, or related discipline; MBA preferred.

 

  • Minimum Experience Required
    - Minimum 8 years of commercial experience in the food, ingredient, or FMCG industry, with a proven record of success in sales and key account management.
    - Experience managing QSR accounts is highly desirable.

    -Proven ability to build strategic partnerships and develop win-win solutions that create value for both customer and company.

    -Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and financial planning capabilities.
    -Analytical and strategic thinker with the ability to simplify complexity and communicate with clarity.
