POSITION OVERVIEW

 

The Alternate Channel team leads the marketing for eCommerce, Club & Dollar channels at McCormick. As Sr. Associate Manager - Alternate Channels, you will support channel growth within Canada by partnering with brand, sales, and other cross functional teams to ensure timely executions of the projects. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are relentless at testing and learning to drive share of voice, rankings and sales. Ultimately your goal will be to ensure each of your online retailers provides great consumer experience, while supporting our sales and brand objectives.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Follow e-Commerce digital best practices, collaborate with the Marketing Team for best-in-class execution of PDP eContent, Educational Content, Product listings & Shopping Journeys.
  • Execute Item set-up in each online retailers’ platform.
  • Ensure accurate representation and communication of product catalog with a focus on daily management including audits of ecom sites for content integrity, completeness, and optimization.
  • Engage with cross-functional subject experts to incorporate best practices to lead the channel growth.
  • Support/propose action-based solutions for operational changes and efficiencies
  • Support the Global Marketing team for retailer search & display campaign executions. Share insights and best practices for optimizations to boost share of voice, organic search, category market share with objective to drive conversion and sales sell-through.
  • Assist and provide the required Ad Hoc reporting including post-mortem reporting.
  • Provide support to the Club business for innovation pipeline development by working with project management leads and sales team.
  • Lead product/packaging, communication and pricing projects through cross-functional partners to deliver growth goals.
  • Demonstrate operational expertise and understanding of McCormick ways of working and processes to effectively lead cross functional teams

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Minimum Education requirement is a bachelor’s degree
  • At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Amazon for Product & brand page set-up and catalogue management.
  • 1-2 years of consumer-packaged goods eCommerce/marketing experience
  • Strong project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously under tight time constraints and across multiple cross functional teams/departments.
  • Strong attention to detail, organized & self-motivated
  • Ability to adapt to changing systems, forms, and standards
  • Can manage large data sets and extract insights

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

Good understanding of tools like NIQ, Salsify, Profitero, Amazon Vendor Central

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $70,360-$120,360Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
