Production Supervisor

 Under the direction of Production Manager and Asst Production manager, the production supervisor ensures overall performance of team to meet objectives such as right quantity in time, quality by leading in safety aspects, sanitation, GMP. Also maximize machine line efficiency with the cost effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Develops and improves products quality, machine & labor efficiency, equipment and facilities utilization. Updates procedures and work instructions to comply with all quality systems such as GMP, HACCP, BRC and customer requirement

 

Create and support CCI initiatives for cost saving project

 

Supervise and communicate to employee and team to ensure all products are in good quality with high productivity. Also conduct the training courses of basic sanitation, GMP and HACCP to staffs. Conduct all KPI through DDS meeting and effective meeting time.

 

Empower team members in cross functional problem solving, investigate the root causes and find out corrective and preventive action

 

Control and monitoring the actual productivity meet to plan in responsible plant.

 

Any special jobs assignment that involved in the responsibility

 

Ensure all employ are work with safety culture

 

Investigate and improve production variance and DIFOT.

 

Support costing and routing for NPD.

 

Monitor and review the performance of staff and organize necessary interventions for improvement.

 

Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant department including quality, Engineer, supporting division and management.

 

Additional/Secondary Responsibilities

Cross functional audit and Food safety team.to develop GMP.

 

Required Qualifications:

Level of Education and Discipline

BSc. Food science and Technology or related.

B. Engineering of Food, Chemical, Mechanical or related.

Certifications and/or Licenses

Certificate in Manufacturing or GMP, HACCP and BRC for quality system

Experience

 

At lease 5-10 Years in Food Manufacturing

Interpersonal Skills

Problems solving, Cross function communication, Can communication English.

Quick response and focus on problem area/ Strong Leadership

Other Skills & Competencies

Able to work under pressure

SAP knowledge.

LEAN and TPM knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

Level of Education and Discipline

Bachelor’s or master’s degrees in manufacturing

Certifications and/or Licenses

Safety Officer for Supervisor level

 

Certificate in Internal audit.
