Position Overview:

The Lifecycle Marketing Data Technology Enablement Lead will play a critical role in driving the organization’s global marketing strategies by leveraging 1st-party data to deliver personalized customer experiences and maximize marketing ROI with a deep focus on customer and consumer-centricity. This role will focus on integrating, managing, requirements gathering, and optimizing the Lifecycle Marketing technology stack to ensure effective use of 1st-party data across platforms, supporting lifecycle marketing, customer segmentation, and analytics. By bridging the gap between marketing and technology, the lead will help unlock the full potential of 1st-party data in a rapidly evolving data privacy landscape.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Support development and implementation of strategies to collect, organize, and activate 1st-party data for marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with marketing, IT, Privacy, and data teams to ensure scalability and compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Collaborate with IT and other teams to integrate data from various touchpoints into unified systems.
  • Act as the primary liaison between marketing, IT, and business units for 1st-party data initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment on marketing objectives and data-driven strategies across departments.

1st-Party Data Strategy and Enablement

  • Develop and maintain user stories translating business requirements into actionable tasks.
  • Keep a well-defined backlog that serves as a basis for strategic priorities.
  • Support 1st party data roadmap development for technology and business
  • Develop Wireframe documents and guides for 1st party data
  • Establish and enforce data governance best practices for 1st-party data, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Marketing Analytics and Insights

  • Analyze customer behavior and campaign performance using 1st-party data and analytics tools.
  • Create actionable dashboards and performance reports for stakeholders using Power BI and Tableau.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for campaign optimization based on data trends.

Platform Management and Support

Manage and optimize the Lifecycle marketing technology stack with collaboration Marketing, Sales, IT, Data and Privacy Teams including:

  • Marketing Platforms: Klaviyo, HubSpot
  • Analytics Tools: Google Analytics
  • Cloud Environments: Google Cloud, Azure Cloud, AWS Cloud
  • CDPs: Segment, Treasure Data, Lytics
  • Consent Management Platform Tools: OneTrust, Securiti
  • Data Clean Rooms and Visualization Tools: LiveRamp, Habu, Power BI, Tableau
  • Consumer Affairs: Emplifi
  • Agile Project Management: Azure DevOps
  • Oversee data integrations with Enterprise Data Services between platforms and resolve technical challenges.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for marketing teams to improve technology adoption and data usage.

Innovation and Optimization

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices related to 1st-party data and marketing technologies.
  • Experiment with new tools, techniques, and approaches to improve marketing performance.
  • Assess and recommend improvements to the existing technology stack to meet evolving business needs.
  • Continuously optimize the marketing technology stack to ensure maximum value is derived from 1st-party data.

 

Qualifications:

  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Marketing Technology, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing technology enablement or a related role, with a focus on 1st-party data.
  • Expertise in Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) like Segment, Treasure Data, and Lytics for 1st-party data management and activation.
  • Proficiency in email and SMS platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, HubSpot) for personalized communication using 1st-party data.
  • Experience with cloud environments (Google Cloud, Azure) for data storage and processing.
  • Familiarity with data clean rooms (e.g., LiveRamp) to ensure privacy-compliant data collaboration.
  • Proficient in analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Power BI, Tableau) to analyze and present 1st-party data insights.
  • Strong understanding of customer segmentation, lifecycle marketing, advertising, and 1st-party data strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting building and optimizing customer journeys using 1st-party data.
  • Certifications in relevant platforms (e.g., CDPs, Klaviyo, HubSpot, or Google Analytics) (preferred).
  • Experience working with machine learning models or advanced analytics for predictive insights using 1st-party data. (preferred).
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on marketing technologies and 1st-party data strategies. (preferred).
  • Familiarity with both B2B and B2C marketing environments (B2C preferred).
  • Familiarity with Consumer Affairs, Customer Service Process (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Data Management Platforms (Google Audience Manager, Salesforce DMP, Adobe Audience Manager) (preferred).
  • Fluent English (spoken and written).
