We are looking to hire a Seeburger EDI Specialist in a Hybrid (60/40) capacity for our site in Interlomas, Edo. Mex.. This is 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Position Overview:

The EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Specialist is responsible for B2B EDI Implementation, Trading Partner Onboarding Projects using SEEBURGER B2B Platform into our SAP ERP systems. The individual would be working in various project phases including Business Requirement Analysis, Solution Design & Development, Documentation, End-2-End Testing, Release/Deployment for large scale B2B projects.

 

Responsible to work with our internal business partners who managed the trading partner relationship and manage the trading partner onboarding process to set expectations on the development timelines based on complexity and effort involved and suggest options for solution delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development and maintenance of Seeburger EDI software applications.
  • Analyze business requirements and recommend preferred solutions based on technical standards and best practices and coordinate with our key stakeholders (eBC team) that submit/process these EDI requests/trading partner onboarding.
  • Develop new maps and business processes to support new/enhanced business requirements.
  • Configuration of different communication protocols (AS2, HTTP, FTPS) with partners.
  • Configuration of Trading Partners, routing, certificates, etc. for partner communication.
  • Working with the Application Managed Service provider conduct analysis of Trading Partner inquiries, troubleshooting errors, tracing data through EDI translation and applications systems.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with other functions across IT & business to ensure collaboration, consistency and quality.
  • Provide continuous improvement and exploration of industry standards and technology.
  • Maintain continuous personal learning and development to remain technological relevancy in current and emerging technologies.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of overall EDI experience.
  • 3+ years of EDI experience specifically using Seeburger BIS 6 is required. Experience with BIS 6.5.2 is strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years in a role working with ANSI X12 EDI messages such as Purchase Order, Change Order, Invoice, Payment request is required.
  • 3+ years of experience in mapping between SAP S4 IDOC and EDI message is required.
  • 3+ years in a role working with XML or XML-IDOC message files such as ReceiptNotice and ShipNotice is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience with AS2, HTTPS, FTPS, SFTP, PGP, SMTP, VPN.
  • 3+ years of experience developing EDI solutions related to Supply Chain, Finance or Manufacturing business processes.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Value Added Network communications, preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in MFT solution, required. Seeburger MFT is preferred.
  • Industry Experience within FMCG type of business, preferred.
  • Systems, software, technologies like Azure - DevOps & Service Now.
  • Experience in the management of the actual delivery of IT services.
  • Experience in dealing with third-party-provided services.
  • Fluent/advanced English (spoken and written).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively on technical and business issues both internally and externally.
  • Solid leadership skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in leading both physical and virtual, global and culturally diverse teams.
  • Ability to work independently, navigate problems, resolve conflicts and bring solutions into the table.
  • Build strong interpersonal relationships and be able to persuade, negotiate and influence for meeting business objectives.
  • Innovative thinker - able to turn customer requirements into workable solutions.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
