To ensure that the dispensary functions, namely, raw material & packaging is picked, pre weighed and issued for production within the correct SAP procedures and transactions. FIFO principles to be followed whilst adhering to the food safety & quality systems.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Ensure that materials are available at the right time and in the required quantities to meet internal customer requirements (blending), using/following the correct SAP transactions and procedures. 
  2. Dispensary to ensure FIFO principles are followed in order to minimise SLOB.
  • Strive to achieve 100% adherence to plan.
  • All sections to follow SOP’s and all activities to be conducted and aligned according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Maintain focus on quality and food safety program [AIB > 900, Star Audit > 95%, Hygiene Index > 95%]
  • Ensuring that cleaning records are adhere too & signed off.
  1. Warehousing of Raw Materials
  • Ensure that all raw materials are put back in the correct location after weighing according to correct SAP transactions and procedures.
  1. Ensure that the Dispensary department operates as a cohesive team and that there is openness and transparency in communication and policy setting.
  • Participation and involvement of employees during daily meetings 
  • Establish and head up a site-specific Sustainability Committee to monitor & report on power & water usage as well as waste management & recycling.
  • Ensure that an adequate program exists to monitor and report on the quality of water and air. Looking also at effluent discharge.
  • Assume responsibility site security, access control and CCTV management.

 

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Relevant experience
  • Strong attention to detail and a conscientious approach to work
  • Solid literacy and numeracy skills, including good command of English
