HSE AND FACILITY MANAGER

Manager responsible for implementing safety and sustainability policies and overseeing facility maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor the company’s safety policy, as well as strategies for sustainability and environmental protection.
• Manage the planning of occupational health and safety training for employees, conduct workplace safety inspections and audits, and report any deficiencies.
• Analyze crisis situations and develop contingency plans related to safety and environmental issues.
• Communicate with regulatory authorities regarding workplace safety and environmental compliance.
• Monitor and report on accident and occupational disease investigations, as well as environmental performance results.
• Ensure that safety rules and procedures are consistently and systematically followed.
• Update standards and regulations related to occupational health and safety and ensure their implementation within the company.
• Plan, organize, and supervise maintenance work for the building and technical infrastructure, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Manage a team of employees, including recruitment, training, and motivating them to achieve goals set by management.
• Monitor budgets and negotiate with suppliers of services and products necessary for proper facility operations.
• Collaborate with the production department and management to optimize production and maintenance processes.
• Prepare reports and analyses and present them to management to support decision-making.

Our requirements:

• Higher education in a technical field or management.
• Strong experience in managing safety, environmental compliance
• Knowledge of Polish occupational health and safety regulations.
• Excellent knowledge of tools and methods related to planning and executing maintenance activities.
• Ability to solve technical problems and strong understanding of OH&S regulations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage a team.
• Ability to perform tasks in line with defined goals and timelines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent English
• Experience in facility maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment would be an advantage
